5 Days/ 4 Nights, Holy land Itinerary | Sample Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival to Tel Aviv
On arrival at Ben Gurion Airport, you will be met by your Tour Guide, proceed to your first class coach and transfer to your hotel in Tel Aviv for check-in, dinner and overnight;
Day 2: Jaffa – Caesarea – Akko – Haifa
After breakfast, we drive to the city of Jaffa, one of the oldest cities on the Mediterranean Sea. (Arabic, Yaffa). Jaffa has been historically important; largely because of its ancient port, which historians consider as one of the oldest harbours in the world. We will walk through the Old city of Jaffa, which was the former shipping and pilgrimage hub heading to Jerusalem. After, viewing Jaffa Clock Tower; it is one of seven clock towers built in Palestine during the Ottoman period and the Saraya in its vicinity (the Turkish governor’s house). Viewing the Sea Mosque and visiting the Mahmoudia Mosque, the largest mosque in Jaffa and the most significant. Then, we drive towards Caesarea. Caesarea Maritime, along the sea road - Via Maris. We stop by the ancient aqueduct of Caesarea, a tiny fishing village that was transformed into a world-class port by King Herod between the years 22 BC and 10 BC. Next, we drive to Haifa to view the Baha’i Gardens and Shrine from the top of Mount Carmel. After enjoying the breathtaking views of the Gardens and the expansive port of Haifa with the Mediterranean in the distance, we continue on our tour towards Akko.
In Akko (Acre) we visit the Crusaders tunnels, old city and the Turkish Bazaar, then we drive to Jerusalem for a check in, dinner and overnight;
Day 3: Jericho - Jerusalem
After breakfast, we drive towards Jericho. Visiting the most ancient continuously inhabited city in the world (approximately 10,000 years old) where we view the sycamore tree and the famous mount of Temptation (Mt.Qarantal) where Prophet Issa (Jesus Christ) stayed and fasted for forty days. After that, we continue to Qumran to visit the location where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found by chance by a simple Bedouin herding his goats. Next, we explore Qumran and finish our buffet lunch on the site, we spend some time on a private beach where we have the option of covering ourselves with the world famous Dead Sea mud and relax with a float on salty Dead Sea, the lowest spot on Earth. Later, we make our way towards Maqam Al-Nabi Mousa (Prophet Moses) tomb for a visit. After that, we go to the Mount of Olives. Visiting Maqam Salman Al Farisi –One of the Sahaba of Prophet Mohammed (PBUH), we also visit Maqam Rabia’a Al Adawiyyah -one of the earliest Sufi women in Islam. Later, we go to the infamous Panoramic View on top of the Mount of Olives to view Al Aqsa Mosque and the Dome of the Rock. Our last destination for the day will be a visit to the Al Aqsa Mosque and Dome of the Rock.
Day 4: Hebron – Bethlehem – Nabi Daoud (PBUH)
After breakfast, we drive to the city of Hebron “Khalil Al Rahman” for a visit of the Ibrahimi mosque and the Maqamat of (Ibrahim PBUH & Sara his wife; Ishaq PBUH & Rifqa his wife). Later, we drive to the mosque of Prophet Younus PBUH to visit his Maqam. After, we drive to the city of Bethlehem for a visit of the place of Birth of Jesus Christ-Prophet Issa PBUH- and then we go for lunch. Next, we drive back to Jerusalem to visit Maqam Nabi Daoud PBUH and Omar Mosque. From there we walk through the Old City of Jerusalem to visit Al-Buraq wall where Mohammed PBUH tied his Buraq on his night Journey of Isra’a & Miraj.
Day 5: Free Day & Departure
